Both hailing from Ghana, the “Alien’s” ambition to succeed never stalls. In 2009, Treasure made the daunting decision to move from DC to Atlanta to join MidKnight to create the classic, unorthodox EP “Coolie High,” which was recorded at the historic Tree Sound Studios.

Not too often music of this caliber is made. Music that tells the stories of the sometimes forgotten struggle of millions of people living in third world countries. Treasure and Midknight teamed up for a purpose, tapping into markets in their home country of Africa along with markets in the United States. Green Face Music is striving to get their voice heard by the masses. The road to success may be long and have a couple road blocks, but work ethic and the desire to provide substantial quality content is what separates these two from the rest of the saturated crowd.
